  • When teams come together, experienced facilitation helps create space and opportunity to find ways forward previously not visible to team members. Even teams that generally function well sometimes go through difficult periods and team facilitation can help get the agenda back on track, change course when needed, resolve conflicts and find solutions to performance blockages.

    But team facilitation is not only helpful for improving team performance, it also permits team leaders to adopt a more neutral role as a team participant. This is particularly helpful in larger, consensus building and data collection types of meetings that work better if they are facilitated by someone without a stake in the outcome of the discussions.
